David Knotek
Entrepreneur and investor. Builds consumer brands, backs founders, and is more interested in what comes after achievement than in achievement itself.
David Knotek is the co-founder and former CEO of Chemical Guys, the Los Angeles car-care company he built from a garage into a global brand sold in more than fifty countries, known as much for its community as for its products.
He is an Operating Partner at RX3 Growth Partners, a consumer growth-equity firm, where he works alongside founders on brand, marketing and scale. He has mentored start-ups through Vistage since 2011 and supports entrepreneurship for underserved youth in Los Angeles.
His current work is New Romantics, a cultural project and community built around gatherings, conversation and the art of feeling fully alive. He came to the United States in 1990.
